Casey grew up in Cupertino California in the shadows of Apple Inc. and Silicon Valley. She had a strong aptitude for all things technical (both parents are Engineers) and a future in the tech world certainly would have had a spot for her. Instead, Casey’s love of performing became her chosen path.

Casey started writing her own songs at age 14 and began performing them at open mics around the Bay Area. She has always felt at home behind the mic and energized by the audience.

Casey’s music journey began at the age of 5 when she started piano lessons with Andrea Levin Parnes. Andrea was the bass guitarist of the 60’s group “Daughters of Eve” and was the perfect match. Seeing Casey’s interest in music was not Bach or Beethoven, Andrea allowed Casey to explore the world of pop music such as Adelle and Christina Aguilera. Casey’s music has flourished under Andrea’s nurturing and supportive guidance.

Casey has been a member of the West Coast Songwriters since she was 15. This has given her the opportunity to compete on stage and hone her singing and songwriting skills. It has formed lasting, supportive friendships.
